New study asks adults to look back at their educational decisions, and STEM graduates have the fewest regrets

Gallup and Strada have teamed up to release a new report, On Second Thought: U.S. Adults Reflect on Their Education Decisions, on how adults view the decisions they made about their own postsecondary education.

One of the questions asked was whether the respondents wish they had chosen a different major.  In this regard, adults who had earned degrees in STEM fields had the fewest regrets.  The plot below shows the percentages of bachelor’s degree grads who said they should have majored in something different.
