Florida’s students performed near the national averages on the tough new AP Physics 1 and 2 exams, according to the state-level information on May 2015 exam results recently released by the College Board.
Florida score distributions are very close to the national distributions on both exams. In addition, the percentages of Florida high school students both taking and passing the exams were close to the national rates.
Florida has historically been close to national averages on AP Physics exams.
The exam taking and passing rates shown at the bottom are based on an estimate of 16.4 million high school students in the US and the Florida number of 823,271 high school students in 2014-15.
