News Service of Florida: Higher ed reform will wait until 2013

The News Service of Florida is reporting that legislative leaders are saying that major higher ed reform legislation will not be taken up during the 2012 session, which begins Tuesday.  The agenda for this year’s session is quite crowded with reapportionment, a $2 billion budget shortfall and the possibility of major casino development in Miami expected to consume all the oxygen and time.
