It's baaaaaaack....Governor's Task Force on Higher Education considers charging higher tuition for engineering and science programs

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the higher education policy well, the AP is reporting (h/t Gradebook) that the Governor’s Task Force on Higher Education is considering a recommendation in which higher tuition would be charged for majors like engineering that are more expensive to deliver and which result in higher paying jobs.

This proposal seems to be at odds with the Governor’s stated intention to steer students into high demand STEM fields.
